Description: INCREASING EFFECTIVENESS IN LITIGATION THROUGH IMPROVISATIONAL THEATRE FOR LAWYERS
A CAALA Workshop for Members Only
This course is designed to give lawyers a basic foundation in the skills used by professional performers in improvisational theatre. The class covers a wide range of communication skills, observation skills, and creativity exercises designed to increase awareness and facilitate a more flexible communication style.
Participants will learn to apply basic acting principles to all aspects of litigation including deposition, mediation and negotiations, court hearings, and trial. This workshop is geared towards all trial lawyers but is best suited for those with moderate to advanced trial skills.
